The academic research works led by ENISE's lecturer-and-researchers contribute to civil society by means of industrial contracts and in collaboration with local authorities, by registering patents, and by organising or taking part in days dedicated to technology and professionals.
Indeed, ENISE is a participant in several institutes who act for the technology transfer of its research. Those are:
- Centrale Innovation, a private technology transfer centre associated with École Centrale de Lyon, École Centrale de Nantes and École Centrale de Marseille
- Institut Carnot Ingénierie@Lyon, an institute which federates the expertise of 13 engineering research laboratories from 8 public institutes and 2 technical and technological centres in the Auvergne-Rhône Alpes region
- Pulsalys, a technology transfer pooling centre within Université de Lyon
